Frank Ocean has shared a dreamy, stripped-back cover of "Moon River"
Frank Ocean has unveiled a surprise cover of classic ballad "Moon River", which was originally performed by Audrey Hepburn in 1961 film Breakfast At Tiffany's.
The track has been covered countless times over the years, but Ocean's dreamy take is up there with the best. With the "2/14" note on the artwork, it looks like this is a belated Valentine's gift... unless this is track two on a secret 14-track record? We're clutching at straws here.
Ocean's continued releasing music since 2016's double-whammy of Blondeand Endless - he's teamed up with Calvin Harris and Migos on "Slide", plus aired "Chanel", "Provider", "Lens", Young Thug-featuring single "Slide On Me", and Tyler, The Creator and Jay Z collab "Biking". He also jumped on his old Odd Future pal's latest LP and Jay Z's comeback record, helped write a N.E.R.D. cut, and appeared on an A$AP Rocky jam, played a bunch of shows (at least one was shot by Spike Jonze for... a tour doc? Maybe?), and sorta worked with King Krule. He recently launched a radio station on GTA V as well. Frank's been busy, basically.
