Frank Ocean covers The Isley Brothers' "At Your Best (You Are Love)"
Frank Ocean continues his subtle teasing of new material with a cover of The Isley Brothers' "At Your Best (You Are Love)", shared via his Tumblr page.
As DIY note, the cover is no accident, and Ocean's apropos choice probably has a deeper meaning than just randomly piddling about in the studio:
"Aaliyah also covered the track back in 2001, and with yesterday (January 16th) being what would have been the late singer’s 36th birthday, the track has been seen by many as a tribute."
Ocean's as-yet-unconfirmed follow-up to 2012's channel ORANGE is an album expected to hit shelves at some point this year. It's a release we at Best Fit are particularly looking forward to, and it's included in our 15 For 15 wishlist.
