Frank Ocean's new album Boys Don't Cry is out on Friday
Frank Ocean is finally releasing Boys Don't Cry after bloody ages trolling fans and onlookers - barring some Act Of God(/Frank), it's out this week.
Frank spent most of yesterday (1 August) making a spiral staircase in a not-quite-live livestream. The stream features ambient sounds and various art pieces - is it part of the video for the lead single?
The New York Times is reporting that Frank'll drop Boys Don't Cry on Friday 5 August, and it'll be an Apple Music exclusive for a full two weeks. A "major video" and a new publication - that Boys Don't Cry magazine - are also expected on Friday.
The long-awaited follow up to 2012's channel ORANGE has been rumoured for years. Guest appearances from Yung Lean, Playboi Carti, SebastiAn, James Blake, Rich The Kid, Hudson Mohawke, and Lil B have all be talked about, and the whole thing has been slated to drop for three straight Julys - but we were met with silence again this time around. Clearly Frank was playing this time.
