Foxygen share reflective new groove "Face The Facts"
Foxygen are back with disco-tinged new groove, "Face The Facts".
The reflective new single is the second single to be shared from the duo's forthcoming sixth album Seeing Other People, after last month's "Livin' A Lie".
"Face The Facts" also sees Sam France and Jonathan Rado team up with Kane Richotte on a snare drum set, and Rob Moose (Bon Iver, Alabama Shakes) for strings.
Seeing Other People is Foxygen's first album since 2017's Hang, and sees France and Rado in take the lead on production.
On the new record, France says, "For me Seeing Other People just means goodbye: Goodbye to the drugs, to the partying. Goodbye to my twenties now, Goodbye to my Saint Laurent-model-body. Goodbye to the touring circus — that’s right, no more shows or tours for a while. Goodbye, hopefully, to the anxiety attacks. Goodbye to beating myself up because I didn’t fit into those leather pants anymore. Fuck it. Goodbye to the facilities. And goodbye the leeches in my life."
