Californian duo Foxygen pulled out all the stops for their rip-roaring main stage set at End of the Road this evening.
Bolstering their backing band with a three-piece brass section, Sam France and Jonathan Rado's odyssey through their sprawling indie rock back catalogue was infused with the passion and slickness of potential headliners-in-waiting.
Looking somewhat like Pete Doherty on a safari, France proved his credentials as a frontman, delivering an animated and engaged performance and Rado's impressive guitar shreddage definitely helped to chase away the rainy day blues.
Early bird tickets for End of the Road 2018 go on sale Tuesday 5 September. Keep an eye on endoftheroadfestival.com for updates.
