Electronic producer, Four Tet has announced that he’s finished work on a new studio album.
The musician – otherwise known as Kieran Hebden – took to Twitter earlier this evening to deliver the news. He wrote in one tweet: “I think I just finished my new album”, before continuing in another: “need to sit on it a bit and make sure everything is just right but I do hope to get it out this year.”
The record follows on from 2012′s Pink, which consisted largely of tracks previously released as 12″ singles, and comes three years after his hugely well-received LP There Is Love in You. Lucky for Four Tet fans, he also describes it as “the best album I’ve made”.
It’s expected to be released, as Hebden says, by the year’s end.
