Four Tet drops "Planet", his second new single of the summer
UK producer Four Tet (aka Kieran Hebden) has unveiled new single "Planet", his second offering in as many months.
"Planet" is a seven-minute jam with hacked-up vocal samples, coruscating Eastern strings, and jelly-wobble bass. It's a mystical and richly melodic spectacle from Four Tet.
Alongside last month's "Two Thousand And Seventeen" track Hebden revealed on Twitter that his new record is "almost ready and coming this year" - although he's since deleted the tweet.
Hebden's new record will follow last year's Randoms compilation and 2015's eighth proper long-player Morning/Evening. Since that LP Hebden's stayed productive - we've had lots of remixes, a free Cheryl Cole-sampling cut, and some standalone tracks
