Forth Wanderers sign to Sub Pop for second album, share new single "Not For Me"
Montclair, New Jersey crew Forth Wanderers are back with "Not For Me" and details of a new self-titled album - their first for new label Sub Pop.
Engineer/pal Cameron Konner produced the album, which was recorded last summer in his home studio in Philadelphia. It's the follow up to 2014's self-released Tough Love and breakout Father/Daughter EP Slop.
"The only way I can really write is by myself in my room with a notebook, listening to the song over and over again," vocalist Ava Trilling explains. "I’ve never sat down to write a story, I write the song as it unfolds."
"We have embraced our roles in the collaboration process," adds guitarist Ben Guterl. "Everyone’s gotten better at their instruments and we trust each other more because we know how the machine works."
