Florence + the Machine release new track "Call me Cruella"
Florence + the Machine have released new song "Call me Cruella" from the upcoming Disney live-action film Cruella.
Florence Welch confirmed news of the new track earlier this month, and today (21 May) the full version of "Call me Cruella" has been unveiled.
The song will feature in the upcoming Disney live-action film Cruella, which will star Emma Stone as Cruella de Vil.
Welch said of the song, "Some of the first songs I ever learned how to sing were Disney songs. And the villains often got the best numbers. So to help create and perform a song for Cruella is the fulfillment of a long held childhood dream. I’m so grateful to Nicholas Britell and Disney for allowing me so much creative freedom, and for trusting me with Cruella’s beautiful madness."
Last month it was announced that a Great Gatsby musical adaptation with music by Florence Welch was green-lit.
