Florence + The Machine concert reportedly causes tremor equivalent to a "small earthquake" in Berlin
Last Friday (10 June) Florence + The Machine played Tempelhof Sounds in Berlin, and an expert has claimed that the concert caused a tremor equivalent to a "small earthquake", which was felt two kilometres away.
According to rbb|24, Florence + The Machine's Tempelhof Sounds concert last Friday (10 June) caused a tremor, and resulted in a large number of reports from people from the Neukölln area of Berlin.
Data analyst Jens Skapski told rbb|24, "We don't usually have earthquakes in Berlin. That's why I wanted to know more about it."
According to the piece, three private seismological stations near Tempelhofer Feld registered the tremor, which was a 1.4 on the Richter scale. Skapski said, "It's equivalent to a small earthquake. A natural earthquake would be shorter and with a higher frequency."
People danced so hard during Florence+ The Machines' set at Tempelhof Sounds last night that they caused a local earthquake measured at 1.4 on the Richter scale.

On Saturday (12 June) Skapski revealed on Twitter that he had received a lot of hate comments following his statement about the tremor. He wrote, "The amount of hate comments because of my statement about the Tempelhof "earthquake" is really frightening. Almost all from people who would rather believe secret tunnel blasting (QAnon story) is the real cause I would like to obfuscate. Sick parallel society..."
He added in a second tweet, "Never again... From now on only boring stuff on earthquake news that nobody is interested in. This is all too much."
