Flock of Dimes shares new track "Go With Good"
Ahead of her Head of Roses: Phantom Limb collection arriving on Friday (15 April), Flock of Dimes has unveiled another new song from the release titled "Go With Good".
Head of Roses: Phantom Limb was announced last month with the lead outing "It Just Goes On", and today (11 April) Jenn Wasner has delivered a second track from the collection titled "Go With Good", which was recorded at Betty's in Chapel Hill, NC.
Stereogum reports that Wasner said of the track in a statement, ""Go With Good" is about making peace with those moments in which what we believe we want for ourselves doesn’t end up aligning with what life actually has in store for us. It’s about trying to step outside of ourselves enough to see and accept things as they truly are - letting go of the illusion of control that keeps us stuck, and revising the false narratives that we may have constructed to protect ourselves from pain."
Head of Roses: Phantom Limb is a collection of unreleased tracks from the Head of Roses era, featuring unheard demos, live performances and covers of Joni Mitchell's "Amelia" and Joan Armatrading's "The Weakness in Me".
