Floating Points remixes Thundercat's Mac Miller tribute song "Fair Chance"

Floating Points has unveiled his remix of Thundercat's It Is What It Is song "Fair Chance", which features Ty Dolla $ign and Lil B, and is dedicated to the late Mac Miller.

The new remix of "Fair Chance" follows on from Smino and Guapdad 4000's remix of "Dragonball Durag" that dropped in August.

Floating Points' remix is the first outing from the British electronic producer since he remixed Caribou's "Never Come Back" and "Sister" songs back in June.

Thundercat said of "Fair Chance" when it was released in March, "This song is about Mac… when he passed it shook the ground for the artist community. Ty’s a strong dude and when he heard the song he knew exactly what it should be. I was there when he recorded it. We talked about what it was, and he did what he felt was right to it, and I love what he did."
