Fleetwood Mac to reunite with Christine McVie at live shows
Former Fleetwood Mac keyboardist and songwriter, Christine McVie is to make a surprise appearance with the band live for a handful of shows during their upcoming world tour.
McVie was a main member of the group for nigh on 30 years, before announcing her retirement from the band back in 1998, after their induction to the Rock n Roll Hall of Fame.
Despite Stevie Nicks being previously quoted as saying that there was “no more a chance of happening than an asteroid hitting the earth”, now, it appears the musician has had a slight change of heart, teaming up for two live outings.
Nicks told BBC Radio 4: “ is going to come and do a song on the second two shows. I think it will probably be ‘Don’t Stop’. I don’t know, but she’s coming to Ireland to rehearse with us.”
Fleetwood Mac’s European tour kicks off later this month in Dublin.
