Fleetwood Mac and Led Zeppelin lead betting odds for Glastonbury 2019 headliners
Glastonbury blues are upon us as they take 2018 off. Guesses as to who will headline the 2019 festival sees Led Zeppelin and Fleetwood Mac leading the betting odds.
Betway's list of potential headliners for Glastonbury 2019 sees rock veterans Led Zeppelin take the lead with a betting odd of 2/1, with Fleetwood Mac in hot pursuit at 3/1.
The betting odds also lean towards The Beach Boys, The Stone Roses and The Strokes, who all sit at 4/1.
The highest return on Betway's list, but probably the least likely, is the iconic Cher, sitting on odds at 50/1, alongside split superstars One Direction.
Taylor Swift takes the lead on the female artists to potentially headline the Pyramid Stage, rated highly at 12/1.
Despite having headlined last year, the Foo Fighters and Ed Sheeran are also on the list, sitting at 20/1.
Speaking to The Independent earlier this year, organiser Emily Eavis explained, "We aren't giving anything away as to who we are looking at for next year's festival, but we've booked one headliner so far..."
