Flamingods announce remix album Moon, share My Panda Shall Fly's edit of "Kinich Ahau"
Flamingods have confirmed a new record titled Moon, and shared a remix of lead track "Kinich Ahau" by My Panda Shall Fly.
Moon follows last year's Hyperborea, and is a reimagining of their manic debut Sun.
The band, who draw from across the world, including Argentina and Bahrain, but are based in London, thrive on rampant experimentation, and this album is set to keep that intent alive and well with the help of disparate collaborators like Dustin Wong, Shinamo Moki, Octachamp and Esmink.
Speaking about the record, the band said: "We love to make people dance. It’s part of the nature of our live shows and we also love collaborating. Getting someone to study and understand your music and interpret it in a different way is something that really interests us.”
Moon is out 6 July on Portugal's Lovers & Lollipops.
