Flaming Lips, Broken Bells & more to perform Beatles covers on Letterman

The Late Show with David Letterman has announced that next week will be “Beatles Week”, with a handful of acts set to cover Lennon, McCartney and co.
The tribute will mark the 50th anniversary of The Beatles’ first appearance on The Ed Sullivan Show, with Flaming Lips, Broken Bells, Sting and Lenny Kravitz all announced to perform throughout the week.
The band’s two surviving members, Paul McCartney and Ringo Starr are rumoured to appear on Friday’s finale outing.
