"sad day" is the fourth single to be lifted from MAGDALENE, after "home with you", Future collaboration "holy terrain", and April's "cellophane".
Speaking about her highly-anticipated second record, which will follow on from 2014's LP1, FKA Twigs says it's about "every lover that I’ve ever had, and every lover that I’m going to have."
MAGDALENE, which she started working on three years ago, is co-produced by Nicolas Jaar, and was recorded between London, New York, and LA.
"sad day" is out now. FKA Twigs' MAGDALENE album lands Friday (8 November) via Young Turks, and is available to pre-order now.
