FKA twigs says next project is a "really deep, emotional and honest" mixtape
FKA twigs has revealed to fans via her Discord that her next project is a "really deep, emotional and honest" mixtape.
After confirming in October last year that she made "a whole album in quarantine", FKA twigs has provided some more innformation about her upcoming project to fans via her Discord.
According to a post on the Popheads subreddit, FKA twigs revealed the new project is a mixtape, and that she's thinking about a "Capri season take over", meaning it could arrive in December this year or January 2022.
Twigs apparently said the mixtape is "really deep, emotional and honest but hopefully more golden tears than blue. I channelled my melancholy differently this time and it was so amazing."
On the inspiration behind it, twigs added that she "made my next project thinking about all of u and my friends it's for getting ready and going out to and being with people who make u feel good, turnt litty bronzer in the sink shimmer on the bathroom floor."
Twigs also listed likely collaborators for the tape, including Koreless, El Guincho, Cirkut, Mike Dean and Arca, and said there's some "special collabs".
Her forthcoming project/mixtape will follow 2019's MAGDALENE album.
