First Aid Kit to feature on new Jenny Lewis album
Rilo Kiley singer Jenny Lewis is set to release a new solo album this summer, with details of that LP trickling in over the past few weeks. Now, it’s been revealed that none other than First Aid Kit will guest on said record.
The Voyager - Lewis’ first lone release since 2008′s Acid Tongue - will drop on 29 July, produced by Ryan Adams and partly by Beck. The Swedish duo - who presumably know Lewis through mutual acquaintances of Bright Eyes’ Conor Oberst and Mike Mogis - will feature on its title-track.
“Sooo excited about @jennylewis new record The Voyager!,” the pair wrote on Twitter. “She’s one of our biggest inspirations!”
