FIDLAR share new video for reworked early EP cut "West Coast"

With their second album Too imminent, FIDLAR debuted a raucous new track on BBC Radio 1 last night (14 July), and shared the music video to accompany it.

"West Coast" might sound familiar to some of the more FIDLAR fanatic amongst you. The track appeared on the Shit We Recorded In Our Bedroom EP demo release in 2012. Polished and perfected, the album version retains it's tidal wave of energy.

Made up of live footage from the past five years of shows, the track's video is as energetic as they come. Featuing stage invasions galore, naked stagediving, crowdsurfing a-plenty, flaming cricket, makeshift tattooing, and all kinds of hijinks, FIDLAR condense the essence of their free-wheeling wild life on the road into a tight three and a half minutes.

"Energetic music, rock and roll music… It's kind of what we've all based our careers off of," frontman Zach Carper said in a recent interview with Best Fit. "And it's always gonna be energetic.”

FIDLAR have put out an open call to fans to submit their footage from the band's live shows: footage uploaded via Instagram, Twitter, and Tumblr with the tag #FIDLARTOO by 31 July will be compiled to create a companion video from the crowd's perspective.
