Fender have made three custom Game of Thrones guitars
Now the final season of Game of Thrones is here, Fender have made three custom guitars to represent the Stark, Lannister, and Targaryen houses from the show.
The extremely limited edition guitars are all custom made with signature house sigils and materials to represent the different houses, such as a gold Janguar for the Lannister family, a wood Telecaster for the Starks, and leather Stratocaster for the Targaryen house.
Arriving with a 9-minute clip looking at the creation of the three - pretty epic - guitars, Fender also invited Rage Against The Machine's Tom Morello, Extreme's Nuno Bettencourt, German composer Ramin Djawadi, Anthrax's Scott Ian, and the show's co-creator D.B. Weiss to perform the Game of Thrones opening theme tune.
According to Stereogum, the guitars are pretty pricey, and will sell for $25,000, $30,000, and $35,000.
D.B. Weiss, the GoT co-creator, said, "The craftsmanship and attention to detail reminds me a lot of what we saw in our costume and armory shops, and on our sets. I hope these make a few other people 1/1000th as happy as they make me."
