Feist set to appear on the new Broken Social Scene album
Feist has revealed on Instagram that she is set to head into the studio with Broken Social Scene on their forthcoming follow up to Forgiveness Rock Record.
The Canadian artist writes: "Tomorrow I go join my broken brothers to add my 'loverspit' to the new #brokensocialscene album. Reunion Union." The new Broken Social Scene record was confirmed in July, and the band performed new music at this year's Pitchfork Festival.
Feist has a long history of working with BSS, contributing to every album and joining them on tour throughout their history. She also provided vocals on a version of one of the band's most well-known tracks, "Lover's Spit". Feist's most recent solo LP Metals came in 2011.
Broken Social Scene play this year's End Of The Road festival - no word yet on whether Feist will make an appearance...
