Fear Of Men announce debut album Loom, stream “Alta / Waterfall”
Brighton’s Fear Of Men have confirmed their much-anticipated debut album, following a mysterious teaser video posted online last week.
Loom will be released on 21 April in the UK and 22 April in U.S via Kanine, with a special deluxe edition preceding it on Record Store Day. The LP follows on from the group’s acclaimed 2013 singles collection Early Fragments.
Ahead of said release, the band have shared dual opening tracks ”Alta” and “Waterfall”, premiering earlier today on Gorilla vs Bear. The haunting yet fragile “Alta” runs smoothly into the rapturous latter song, as vocalist Jessica Weiss sings in an almost prophetic tone: “Take me to the waterfall / When it’s over”.
You can listen to that below, with Loom available for pre-order now.
