Faye Webster performs two new songs during KEXP at Home session
KEXP has shared a new at Home session with Faye Webster today (22 March), which sees her close her six-song set with two new tracks.
Although Webster hasn't released new music since featuring on COIN's "Sagittarius Superstar" last month, the Atlanta-based singer/songwriter decided to perform two new songs during her KEXP at Home session, which was recorded at Tweed Studios in Athens, Georgia earlier this month.
Her six-song, full band set includes performances of last year's "Better Distractions" and "In A Good Way", as well as her Atlanta Millionaires Club track "Kingston".
Webster also chose to perform two new songs before ending her set, which are titled "I Know I’m Funny haha" and "Cheers". "I Know I'm Funny" continues her dreamy pedal steel vibe, while "Cheers" has a bit more fuzz.
Towards the end of the video, Webster speaks to DJ Sean, and appears to confirm that she's managed to finish a new album during the pandemic.
