Father John Misty's love advice is probably the best-worst you'll hear this year

Father John Misty demonstrates his uncanny knack for being probably the most conniving agony aunt in existence in a new Q&A for Time Out.
He provides some handy hints for the lovelorn, solving problems like bad first dates and a flirty ex.
Among his top tips, Misty solves the age-old conundrum of who should pay for the dinner: "I think if it’s true love, then you should just dine and dash. It’s far more romantic and egalitarian."
During the I Love You, Honeybear campaign, Misty's once again proved himself a cynical, snarkastic musician with a penchant for being the driest human alive. That album is out now, and it's pretty great.
