Father John Misty gives Lana Del Rey's cover of "Buddy's Rendezvous" an official release
Father John Misty has shared Lana Del Rey's cover of his Chloë and The Next 20th Century track "Buddy's Rendezvous" after it was only previously released as a 7" single with the limited edition box set of his latest album.
Lana Del Rey's cover of "Buddy's Rendezvous" was only previously available as a 7" single in Father John Misty's limited edition box set of his Chloë and The Next 20th Century album that was released in April, and today (16 June) Father John Misty has given the cover an official release on streaming services.
Earlier this month Lana Del Rey’s manager confirmed her new album is "coming soon". In May spoke about her follow-up to last year's Blue Banisters album, revealing that the "songs are very conversational," and that she's been "practicing meditative automatic singing, where I don’t filter anything." She added, "It’s a very wordy album. So there’s no room for colour. It’s almost like I’m typing in my mind."
