Faris Badwan's Cat's Eyes project soundtrack new film "The Duke of Burgundy"

​The film is the latest project by director Peter Strickland, with the score recorded at Peter Gabriel’s Real World Studios. “The film is about a world without men,” Faris recently told Exclaim. “So I wasn’t allowed to do any singing.”

Badwan continued to describe the sound of the compositions as “twisted”, adding that there’s “an atmosphere when you’re not really sure what a sound is sometimes”.

The Duke Of Burgundy is expected to be released later this year, while the Cat’s Eyes album dropped back in 2011.
