Fans think Rihanna's new album is coming this year after ex-Ticketmaster CEO shares top five list
Former Ticketmaster CEO Nathan Hubbard has shared his top five albums of 2022 list, and fans reckon Rihanna could be returning this year after he teased a mysterious artist in fifth place.
Over the weekend Nathan Hubbard, the former CEO of Ticketmaster, revealed that Beyoncé's Renaissance is his favourite album of 2022 ahead of its release this Friday (29 July). He also shared four other albums that complete his top five albums of 2022, which includes Kendrick Lamar's Mr. Morale & The Big Steppers in second place, The 1975's upcoming album Being Funny in a Foreign Language in third place, and Brent Faiyaz's WASTELAND in fourth place.
Hubbard's fifth album of 2022 is a bit of a mystery though, as he didn't reveal the artist name, and simply wrote, "Yes *she* is releasing something."
Fans have been trying to guess who it could be, and Rihanna's name has been thrown about a lot, considering she's yet to deliver her follow-up to 2016's Anti. Taylor Swift has also been mentioned, but a couple of people have pointed out that Swift hasn't exactly been quiet. Although her last album was 2021's re-recording of Red, Swift recently released "Carolina" from the Where the Crawdads Sing film soundtrack.
