Exclusive: Prince believed to be collaborating with Kendrick Lamar
A source has revealed exclusively to The Line of Best Fit that Prince and resurgent Compton rapper Kendrick Lamar are believed to be “working on music together”.
Prince is due to release two albums on Monday - Plectrum Electrum, with his band 3RDEYEGIRL, and a solo record entitled Art Official Age, which features a collaboration with Lianne La Havas. Lamar, who is due to attend Prince’s album launch party at his Paisley Park studio on Tuesday (30 September), recently released a new single, “i”.
