Something rotten is coming to Reykjavik: PiL man and ex-Sex Pistol John Lydon has been added to the Iceland Airwaves line-up.
Lydon lined up for a show and to open The Icelandic Punk Museum during this year's Airwaves festival. The museum salutes the Icelandic punk and new wave scene that started in Iceland in 1978, one that many artists - including Bjork - can be traced back to. The exhibition intends to trace the history of punk in Iceland and the spirit of the movement through objects and photograph and will open on 2 November.
Until then, let's all remember Lydon at his best and his worst.
