Ex Hex chug through stormy weather on new cut "Tough Enough"
Ex Hex persevere with power chords on new single "Tough Enough".
"Tough Enough" is the opening track from their forthcoming sophomore record, and second single to be shared from the record having stormed back on the scene last month with the thumping "Cosmic Cave".
The Washington DC trio explain "Tough Enough" is "all about three-dimensional power chords interplaying with whammy dive bombs. It’s a song about turning on your tough switch and forging ahead through whatever storms are happening around you ’cause you have no choice."
Ex Hex's upcoming record It's Real follows on from their 2014 debut album Rips. The 10-track album sees the trio reunite with Rips producer Jonah Takagi.
