Everyone’s getting their own shoes at the moment. Sub Pop. Dinosaur Jr. And now, Everything Everything have designed their own pair too.
The Mercury-nominated fourpiece recently teamed up with shoe manufacturers Swear to design a Chaplin-type brogue, which – unlike a lot of their music-shoe collabs – actually look quite nice. Bassist Jeremy said of the inspiration behind it:
“We went for dark blue because of the sombre tone of the record, then decided it wasn’t enough so we added a splash of yellow down the side. That’s why there’s a tiny little blob of yellow on the back of the shoe.”
