Everything Everything cover Robyn's "With Every Heartbeat"
Everything Everything have covered Robyn's seminal sad-pop belter "With Every Heartbeat" in a new session.
The band - reduced to a twosome of frontman Jonathan Higgs and guitarist Alex Robertshaw for the session - also performed a stripped-back version of "Distant Past". Higgs whipped out a brief-but-brilliant Arnold Schwarzenegger impression too.
They took to the triple j offices for a Like A Version session while down in Oz for Splendour In The Grass 2015.
Robyn is on the cusp of releasing a new mini-album with latest project La Bagatelle Magique - latest offering "Set Me Free" debuted last night (23 July).
"Distant Past" features on Everything Everything's third LP Get To Heaven, which is out now on RCA. Higgs recently gave us a detailed rundown of the album's agitated depths and furious highs.
