Etta Bond gets intimate on sultry new single "Let Me Hit It"
Hot off the back of releasing her "Surface" challenge remix, Etta Bond is wasting no time as she drops new track "Let Me Hit It".
Bond's sultry vocals are perfect for projecting the intimate nature of the track as she takes the lead over the minimal hisses of the beat.
Having teamed up with UK producers Sons of Sonix, aka SOS (Stormzy, Wretch 32, Ty Dolla $ign), Bond collaborated on "Let Me Hit It" in their first session together, and explains it was born out of a discussion on "catching feelings for a friend."
Despite the intimacy of the track, Bond explains that it was a new experience, "It's not actually that often that I have a lot of conversations that lead to writing."
Describing "Let Me Hit It", Bond explains, "It's very sexy this song."
"Let Me Hit It" follows on from the popular "Surface", which she used to spark a conversation with her fans and fellow musicians, resulting in a remixed version of all the 800+ submissions that reveal a unique project that used music as a form of personal expression.
