Errors, Django Django, Twilight Sad & more nominated for Scottish Album of the Year Award 2013
The longlist of acts nominated for this year’s Scottish Album of the Year Award (SAY Award) has been announced.
The ceremony, akin to the Mercury Prize, returns for its second year, with big names such as Calvin Harris and Emeli Sandé looking to be favourites alongside the likes of Errors, The Twilight Sad and Django Django. Also among the 20-stong list are PAWS, for their debut Cokefloat!, and Dam Mantle, for Brothers Fowl.
The winner will receive a £20,000 cash prize, unveiled at ceremony in Barrowlands on 20 June. The full list of nominees is as below:
