The follow up to their eponymous debut, Erland & The Carnival have announced their new album Nightingale will be released via Full Time Hobby on March 7. Fronted by singer Erland Cooper, the London trio’s sophomore album promises to add a darker, electronic twist to their traditionally inspired folk pop melodies. Recorded in the bowels of a ship moored on the bank of the Thames, the sounds of the creaking hull have apparently contributed to its unique ambience.
