Erased Tapes-signed Douglas Dare talks drag on a new episode of Talk The Line
Our podcast exploring celebrity obsessions Talk The Line continues today with singer/pianist Douglas Dare talking about one of his true passions: drag.
The Erased Tapes-signed artist - label mates with Nils Frahm - delivered one of last year's most intelligent and affecting records Aforger. "The album title plays with the idea of a forger," Dare told us back in October 2016, "someone creating imitations or copies, and reimagines them as the creator of something that’s no longer real."
While Dare's music is introspective, understated and finely nuanced, he has a big personality that comes to life when he talks to host Jen Long about the fineries of dressing up and creating an alter-ego.
