Due for release via FatCat Records on January 17, ‘Envies d’Avalanches’ is the latest effort from Toulouse born musician Olivier Alary. Having created his musical persona Ensemble in 1998, Alary has previously collaborated with the likes of Bjork and Dinosaur Jr’s Lou Barlow whilst spending years travelling and recording his particular brand of symphonic folk pop. The simple nature of this video reflects the honest, homely disposition of Ensemble’s soft, emotive and subtle composition.
