Ennio Morricone to score Quentin Tarentino's new film The Hateful Eight
Legendary composer Ennio Morricone is set to compose the soundtrack for Quentin Tarantino's upcoming Western flick The Hateful Eight.
This is a U-turn on the Italian master's previous comments, who, after working with Tarantino on four films, said he would never work with the Pulp Fiction director again.
The Hateful Eight is a film based partly on Bonanza and other cowboy shows, as well as The Magnificent Seven. It is set to feature a star-studded cast, including Samuel L. Jackson, Tim Roth, Channing Tatum, Michael Madsen and Kurt Russell.
Tarantino revealed at the recent Comic-Con that despite Morricone's previous stance, he would in fact be helping score The Hateful Eight - his first Western score in four decades.
Morricone recently announced a series of arena shows for next year to celebrate 60 years of working in cinema.
