Elvis Costello shares cover of "Here, There And Everywhere" for Paul McCartney's 80th birthday
Elvis Costello paid tribute to Paul McCartney on his 80th birthday over the weekend with a cover of The Beatles' "Here, There And Everywhere".
On Saturday (18 June) Paul McCartney turned 80, and to celebrate the milestone, Elvis Costello and Sean Ono Lennon both shared their covers of The Beatles' Revolver track "Here, There And Everywhere".
In the video description, Costello wrote, "Happy Birthday, Paul: Direct From Memphis."
John Lennon's youngest son Sean Ono Lennon wrote on Instagram, "A little birdy told me this was one of your your fav Beatles tunes. So Happy Birthday! Thank you for all the beautiful music. You have mine and the whole world’s undying love and respect. (This version is a bit rough because it’s such a pretty song I kept getting choked up and staring again!)"
