Eluvium, Ryuichi Sakamoto, Julianna Barwich, Ólafur Arnalds, Nils Frahm, Hammock, and more are teaming together for a charity compilation series.
Disquiet, helmed by Helios/Mint Julep's Keith and Hollie Kenniff, is assembling some of the finest ambient soundsmiths to support a variety of good causes and vital organisations.
The first volume of the series features tracks by The Album Leaf, Hammock, Eluvium, Balmorhea, Ben Lukas Boysen, Synkro, and more, and you can hear a sampler above.
There will be three compilations in total, with participants in future editions including the aforementioned Barwick, Arnalds, Frahm, and Sakamoto, plus Peter Broderick, Rhian Sheehan, Rafael Anton Irisarri, Loscil, Raum, Mary Lattimore, and Deniel Menche.
A range of non-profits will benefit from the comps, including The Trevor Project, Human Rights Campaign, National Network for Immigrant and Refugee Rights, NAACP Legal Defense and Education Fund, Mexican American Legal Defense and Education, Natural Resources Defense Council, ProPublica, and RAINN.
