Elton John shares surprise documentary Inside the Lockdown Sessions
Elton John has delivered a surprise documentary on Apple Music that shows the making of his most recent album The Lockdown Sessions.
Back in October Elton John released his new album The Lockdown Sessions, which included collaborations with Dua Lipa, Rina Sawayama, Lil Nas X, Years & Years, Gorillaz and 6LACK, Stevie Wonder, Stevie Nicks and many more.
The collaborations were recorded remotely over the 18 months during the pandemic, and last night (30 November) John unnveiled a new documentary on Apple Music that shows the making of the record.
He wrote on Twitter, "Surprise! Just in time for the holidays, I’m taking you Inside the Lockdown Sessions. Watch as I go deep into the making of my latest album with all of my collaborators, only on
Apple Music."
In the trailer, John said, "I wasn't looking for something, it found me."
