Elton John, Scissor Sisters & Trent Reznor to appear on new QOTSA album
It’s been revealed that Elton John and Scissor Sisters’ Jake Shears will appear on the new Queens Of The Stone Age album.
It had already been confirmed that the band’s classic Songs For The Deaf line-up, which featured Dave Grohl on drums, along with Nick Oliveri and Mark Lanegan, will reform for the upcoming release.
But now a new list of unlikely collaborators has been revealed, with Elton confirming he’ll be taking part on U.S TV last night.
The pop icon was a guest with Grohl, standing in for Chelsea Lately, and said:
“I drove three blocks and went from Engelbert to Queens Of The Stone Age, which was a bit of a mindfuck.”
FACT also report that the band’s lead member Josh Homme has also been working with Nine Inch Nails frontman Trent Reznor on a track for the release.
The LP is expected to drop in March, although this has yet to be confirmed. Watch the aforementioned interview below:
