Elton John and ABBA's Benny Andersson recreate "Chiquitita" and "Bennie And The Jets" mashup

The TikTok clip featuring both musicians comes after a mashup of the piano parts from their "Chiquitita" and "Bennie And The Jets" songs trended on the platform. In the new clip, ABBA's Andersson plays the "Chiquitita" part at a black grand piano, before it cuts to John's clip of him playing the "Bennie And The Jets" melody at his own piano in a custom Palace tracksuit.

Andersson wrote alongside the clip on ABBA's TikTok, "Heard that ‘Chiquitita’ was trending again… with Elton John!" On John's TikTok, he captioned the video, "Heard about this little mashup of Bennie and the Jets with ABBA and had to get involved."

Back in June Andersson shared a short piano cover of Foo Fighters’ "Learn To Fly" while wearing one of their t-shirts after Dave Grohl wore an ABBA jumper on stage with Paul McCartney at Glastonbury Festival.
