Elon Musk confirms Grimes has given birth to their first child
Grimes revealed she was pregnant back in January, and since then they've been pretty quiet. Last night (4 May), Elon Musk, the Tesla CEO and boyfriend of Grimes, aka Claire Boucher, confirmed that their first child had arrived, and shared a couple of pictures of their newborn son for fans.

Back in February, Grimes said she didn't want to reveal the gender of their baby, and wrote, "I don't think they can consent to being famous or being in public, and I don't want to gender them in case that's not how they feel in their life. I don't know; I just feel like it doesn't need to be known."
While it's unclear if Musk's name for the baby is real or just a joke to keep fans guessing, Grimes did say of the baby name in February, "I have a name for the baby, but I don’t want to say what it is because everyone I’ve told it hates it, and everyone’s gonna make fun of it. But it is, in fact, a genius name and people just don’t appreciate it yet because it’s too avant-garde."
