Last night saw Ellie Goulding storm to the top of the UK Singles Chart for the first time, topping the summit with her recent effort ‘Burn’.
‘Burn’ is taken from the singer’s latest album Halcyon, which currently sits at number 19 in the Albums countdown. Goulding’s previous best was second spot, from when she guested on Elton John’s ‘Your Song’ in 2010.
Elsewhere, Lady Gaga’s rush-released new single only managed to debut at number 5, having been leaked on Tuesday afternoon.
