El-P confirms new Run The Jewels album is arriving before they play Coachella
El-P, one half of Run The Jewels, has confirmed that their new album is arriving before they play Coachella festival in April.
Their highly-anticipated Run The Jewels 4 album will follow on from 2016's Run The Jewels 3 LP.
Back in December 2019, El-P revealed on Twitter that the new record is "very far along but not mixed/done yet plus gotta clear samples and shit so prolly out earlyish next year realistically. the good news is it’s hard as fuck."
Yesterday afternoon (13 January), El-P continued to answer fans' questions on their new record. One fan told them to "drop that album already. Or give us a date so we can have something to look forward to." El-P replied, "i do apologize for your stress. the album will be out before we play coachella and def not this month that’s all i can say now. we will announce a hard date soon."

Another fan told him to "not sweat these impatient clowns", and to put it out when they're ready, to which El-P responded, "I’m not mad at people wanting the record that’s love. but yeah i don’t have a choice but to wait until it’s mixed, mastered and ready to go."
