Ejecta - Neon Indian’s Leanne Macomber and Ford and Lopatin’s Joel Ford - released their debut Dominae late last year. Now, just under a year later, Macomber is jetting off on a side project from her side project.
Macomber will release a new mini-album in January called The Planet. It's unclear why Ford is not involved, but nevertheless, Macomber now flies under the Young Ejecta banner. Sonically, things haven't changed all that much - expect soft pop, sparkling synthscapes and generous lashings of emotive vocals. Macomber's still not fond of clothing either.
Watch the NSFW mini-album trailer below.
The Planet is out 27 January via Driftless Recordings.
