Ed Sheeran tops BBC 1Xtra's Power list of "urban" acts, Wiley really annoyed about it
BBC Radio 1Xtra have unveiled their “Power list” of influential acts in the “urban music scene”.
The top 20 list has come under fire since its publication, with many criticising the white-centric rundown. Ed Sheeran takes top spot, while the likes of Sam Smith, Disclosure, Katy B and more all fill the Top 10.
Wiley, who occupies the 16th position, took to Twitter to display his frustration, calling it “the saddest list in history”. “England[‘s] music industry is backwards,” he added. “God bless those who try tho”.
