Ducktails announces LP6 Jersey Devil, shares woozy number "Map To The Stars"
Matt Mondanile has announce his sixth studio record as Ducktails and shared lead single "Map To The Stars".
The former Real Estate man is following up 2015's St. Catherine with a collection of tracks that sees him "return to his DIY roots" and find inspiration in "the cosmic jazz fusion of Haruomi Hosono".
Mondanile worked on Jersey Devil for over two years, beginning the process in LA and finishing the record in his hometown of Ridgewood, New Jersey. The LP includes contributions from John Anderson (Girls, Sky Ferreira), Malcolm Oliver Perkins, Samira Winter, John da Costa, and Chi Yoon Hae (of South Korean group Parasol).
Mondanile is set to play a handful of UK shows this autumn as part of a wider European tour. Asian and North American dates are also scheduled - find out the full info.
